Genesis K9 Group does not require PSIRA registration to begin training. However, you must be PSIRA-registered before working as a dog handler in South Africa. We recommend starting your PSIRA application early so your profile is in place by the time you complete your K9 qualifications.
Please note: Non-South African citizens cannot register with PSIRA. If you’re an international student, it’s your responsibility to check with your home country’s regulatory authority regarding their requirements.
