Team Genesis made us incredibly proud as they took part in the prestigious Ultimate Tactical Combat Challenge, held from 5 to 8 November 2024. This annual event gathers top K9 teams from around the world to compete in a series of grueling tasks designed to test the skills and endurance of both the handlers and their K9 partners.
The competition saw some of the best K9 teams come together, and Team Genesis stood out with their exceptional performance. We are thrilled to share that Brendan Burger and his K9 partner, Chaos, clinched first place, securing the title of the Best K9 Handling Team. Their flawless execution and teamwork in this tough challenge earned them well-deserved recognition as the top team of the event.
But the success didn’t stop there. The entire Genesis K9 team demonstrated incredible skill and determination, with impressive finishes across the board:
- Ernst Bennett and Mia placed 6th, showcasing strong performances throughout the competition.
- Hein Prinsloo and Kova came in 7th, proving their ability to handle pressure and work seamlessly together.
- Henry Vesley and Levy placed 12th, holding their own in the highly competitive field.
- Henri Fourie and Rugar finished in 13th, rounding off a remarkable overall team effort.
Each of these handlers and their K9 partners displayed extraordinary commitment and skill, making their performances a true testament to their training and teamwork. The Ultimate Tactical Combat Challenge is not just a competition; it’s an opportunity to push boundaries, develop new skills, and showcase the incredible bond between handler and dog.
